NOTE: When in use, the slider switch on the back of the 80XL amps must be slid over to FS-5L (latching) for the footswitch to function correctly. On the 40XL, instead of a slider switch, you must set the amp to latching by turning the power on while holding down the Tap switch for the footswitch to function correctly.
